The beautiful beaches of Koh Lipe, Thailand made for a lovely backdrop for this jump shot.

Any way you look at it, it was meant to be.
We must have good timing, because we got to Bangkok during some of the worst of the shutdown and protest rallies. For those that don’t follow world news, this was during a rather unsettled time in Thailand’s capital city. Of course we purchased our tickets to Bangkok a few months prior, long before the shutdown and protests occurred.

Tour guides in Sagada, Philippines are very available and heavily suggested for all activities. We may be gluttons for punishment, overly independent, or just plain cheap by not using them. Regardless, we opted to hike to the Kiltepan “sea of clouds” sunrise viewpoint on our own.
