Not that Colorado is all that cold in general (coming from a North Dakotan), but the winters do still get cold. So, getting off the plane in Kona, Hawaii and feeling that glorious island air did something warming to my soul (and my body).

Add to that the anticipation of swimming in the ocean, scuba diving, and quality time with family, and it’s a recipe for goodness.
